Bio
Tatiana Brodatch (b.1977) is a Milan-based artist whose practice encompasses sculpture, photography, and animation. Calling her sculptures “actors,” she creates scenes that often involve physical intimacy and invite viewers to connect with raw emotion and lived experience. Her work captures vulnerability and strength simultaneously.
Born in Moscow, Tatiana Brodatch received a degree in Architecture from the Moscow Architectural Institute in 2000 and a Master’s degree in Sculpture from the Brera Academy in 2017. After fifteen years in architecture, she began working with plasticine
in 2013, making sculptures and creating stop-motion animation. Plasticine became her distinctive material. She also works with bronze, resin and ceramic sculpture. Since then, she has presented multiple solo exhibitions, participated in group exhibitions across Europe, and collaborated with brands such as Seletti, as well as producing special projects for Vogue and other media outlets.
